Moving to a new city and a new living environment presents a lot of change and potential anxieties. My biggest concerns were not for my husband and myself as much as for our sweet Stella. This amazing bull terrier (terrorist) has been teaching us so much these last few months and I can’t wait to share. Among many things she’s handled these mountains of change so well.
Upon moving in we received a package with many advertisements for assistance with groceries, pharmacies, local restaurants, and a varieties of services. One of the many things in this package was dog sitting. I kept the card knowing I would need assistance at some point with Stella.
One day I was waiting downstairs for the doorman (yes, I have a doorman). Among many local magazines on the table nearby one of them, PetLife, caught my attention. I know you’re thinking, “of course it did!” So I pick it up, opened it, and there’s an ad for dog training. I’d been thinking a lot about getting Stella some training for a few “issues” she has - more about those issues later.
Well there it was, right in front of me - blaring in my face! The perfect answers for Stella!
Have you every thought, you know, I should really look for some answers for these issues I have?
Well... Guess what? You get exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.
If there’s anything I’ve learned over the years it’s that when you find yourself in a situation you feel desperate to change… if you STOP and BREATH instead of jumping into your habitual reactions - the answer will always come!
